Isaiah 30
A Rebuke To Those Who Trust In Egypt vv1-3
1 Kings 8:53 For You separated them from among all the peoples of the earth to be Your inheritance, as You spoke by Your servant Moses, when You brought our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord GOD.
John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.
Hebrews 12:5-6 “My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; For whom the LORD loves He chastens,
And scourges every son whom He receives.”
The Lord Documents His Peoples Defiance vv8-14
2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.
Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
1 John 3:23 And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.
John 5:40 But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.
A Call To Wait On The Lord v18
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Romans 3:23-24 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
Romans 3:26b...that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
God Will Guide His People vv19-21
Colossians 3:8-10 But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him,
God Will Bless The Land vv23-26
Rejoicing In God’s Judgments vv27-33
2 Kings 19:35 And it came to pass on a certain night that the angel of the LORD went out, and killed in the camp of the Assyrians one hundred and eighty-five thousand; and when people arose early in the morning, there were the corpses—all dead.
