Galatians 4:8-12
John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God,
to those who believe in His name:
Adoption from the theological standpoint, is God putting us into His family!

Isaiah 44:6 Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: I
am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God.
1 Corinthians 8:4-6 ...that there is no other God but one. For even if there are so-called gods,
whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords), yet for us there is one
God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through
whom are all things, and through whom we live.
1 John 5:19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the
wicked one.
1 John 4:19 We love Him because He first loved us.
Colossians 2:16-17 So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a
new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.
Turn to; Hebrews 10:1-10
1 Samuel 15:22b “...to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams.”
Psalm 51:16-17 “For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in
burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart—These,
O God, You will not despise.”
Galatians 3:24-25 Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be
justified by faith. But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.
"The more religious a man becomes the further from God he gets."
A Personal Appeal to Be Like Paul v12
1 Corinthians 9:19-22 For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all,
that I might win the more; and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those
who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law; to those
who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward
Christ), that I might win those who are without law; to the weak I became as weak, that I might
win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
