John 1:6-13

v1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. v4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
v6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe.
v8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.
v12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

John 8:12 I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.

John 12:36 While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.
Light, is luminous energy, or electromagnetic energy, that can be detected by the human eye!

John 20:31 these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you
may have life in His name.

Jesus Is the Light of Men v4-5

John 8:12 I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.

John 3:19-20 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

The Witness of John the Baptist vv6-8

Mark 1:4-5 John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of
sins. Then all the land of Judea, and those from Jerusalem, went out to him and were all baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins.

Isaiah 40:3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the LORD;

Make straight in the desert A highway for our God.

the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
