What The Law Cannot Do
Galatians 3:10-14
Hebrews 9:12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. Redeemed—how I love to proclaim it! Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb; Redeemed through His infinite mercy, His child, and forever, I am.
The Law Condemns Everyone vv10-11
Romans 4:15 the law brings about wrath; for where there is no law there is no transgression.
Deuteronomy 27:26 Cursed is everyone who doesn’t abide by all things written in the book of the law to perform them.
Deuteronomy 28:15-22 The law of God calls you to do exactly what you don’t want to do.
Matthew 5:48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
Hell is a Real Place
Matthew 10:28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Hell is Forever
Matthew 25:41 Then He will also say to those on the left hand, Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:
Hell is More Terrible Than We Can Imagine
Matthew 8:12 But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
CH Spurgeon; “If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to hell over our bodies. If they will perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees. Let no one go there unwarned and unprayed for.”
Redemption Through Faith vv12-13
Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace,
Romans 5:8-9 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
