His Cross Carried v21

The Man Who Rejected Christ.

Luke 23:39 Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, “If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us.
He Blasphemed Jesus

The Man Who Received Christ.

Luke 23:40-42 But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”

1. He Feared God.
2. He Was Condemned.
3. He Admits His Sin.

1 John 1:8-9 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Luke 23:42 ...Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom. And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

Revelation 1:5 To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood. Which thief do you identify most with?

John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
