Believing Is Seeing
John 4:43-54
John 20:31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of
God, and that believing you may have life in His name.
True Christianity says that Salvation comes to those who believe!
Habakkuk 2:4 Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his
faith.
Galatians 3:24 Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be
justified by faith.
John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through
Me.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
An Example of Unbelief vv43-44
Isaiah 61:1-2 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim
liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim
the acceptable year of the LORD,
Luke 4:28-29 So all those in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with
wrath, and rose up and thrust Him out of the city; and they led Him to the brow of the hill on
which their city was built, that they might throw Him down over the cliff.
